-Try someone out on a small task before you sub everything out. You might think hiring a virtual assistant to help you 30-40 hours a week is phenomenal but not everyone is cut out for the job and before you invest a week’s wages into someone, maybe try them out for a few small tasks first.
-Protect yourself. Be cautious about giving out passwords, trade secrets, and customer strategies to just anyone. Again, by outsourcing small tasks at first, you can ascertain if someone is right for the job and you can determine whether or not they’re trustworthy.
-Carefully check all work — at least at first. Once you know that your virtual assistant or virtual team is working according to your standards, you can let things run on autopilot and benefit from working fewer hours without reducing your business’s pace.
It may take time before you’re ready to outsource. After all, it costs money to pay someone to do things for you. Your time is worth money. It’s worth the money you can earn and there are aspects of your time that are priceless as well. By subbing out tasks that enable you to make more money by NOT having to do them (such as labour intense administrative tasks) and by giving yourself more time to focus on work-life balance, family, and enjoying the fruits of your labour, you’ll be more successful and happier as well.

Selling incense and candles, cheap jewelry, or other knickknacks is just no way to ever make money over internet, no matter what the product promises you. Running an online business is not that easy as you thought, and simply setting up a web storefront does not do anything to help you make money over internet by itself. In order for anyone to make money on the web, you need good business strategy, and lots of hardwork.
