Website Copy Is Extreemly Important

You’d better think again if you think the text on your website isn’t important! Website copy is the MOST significant part of your website. Your website won’t have much success if you have lousy copy. No matter how great the graphics look or the products are copy that isn’t good enough and will make your website fall short in seconds of a visitor arriving. If you’re somebody that’s trying to sell products using a website then that’s not good news. How are you going to create even a few sales if the visitors won’t hang about on your site to discover why they ought to buy from you?

It is essential that you catch the visitors’ attention in the first few seconds of them landing there or they may leave. You NEED to get their attention as soon as they land on your site. You have to continue to keep their attention or else they’ll click the back button within a few seconds.

Potential customers are always looking for information on specific subjects. They will rapidly browse your material and observe your site, to see if it has the information they came looking for. If you don’t grab their attention right away you could lose a potential sale.

If your website has badly written web copy it’s doomed to fail. Those that do fail usually use the following mistakes: boring text, provide information not related to their website topic, fancy or small style fonts, and or contain several spelling errors. These may give you an idea of how bad copy can hurt your business, since there are a lot more mistakes you could make concerning your copy.  If you haven’t decided on a website builder yet you may want to look into XSitePro Review as it can help you avoid many of the errors new webmasters make.

Try to image what your customer is thinking. What copy would you like to see on the site, if you were browsing to buy the same goods that you presently offer? Would you want to read material that has nothing to do with what you searched for or something that grabs your attention?

You will want something that gets your attention most likely. You can accomplish this by… You always need to think who your target audience is. What don’t they like?  Know your customers. Next give them information they understand and enjoy reading.

Let’s say, your target market is moms who raise young children, for an example. They’re not going to want to read lots of text since they have young children and are busy. They most likely will skim through information and pick out pieces of text that seem to relate to them. So would you want your copy aimed at scientists? Now way! You don’t want them to leave your site so you shouldn’t use a lot of confusing words.

They’ll want to read more if you write in simple terms. Your site relies on the text to get their attention and keep them there. By using poor copy you are losing customers and potential sales. Bottom line, give the customer what they want.

Adsense Passive Income

Written by MichaelZ on February 28, 2009 – 4:32 am -

When I started blogging to make money online, a few things become apparent to me. The most important is the significant difference between “active income” and “passive income”. Let me explain.

“Active income” is the amount of money you make while you’re actively blogging, writing, leaving comments, submitting articles and marketing your blog. “Passive income” on the other hand is residual in nature, and it’s how much money you can earn if you suddenly stopped doing all of the things above. Understanding the benefits of both can help you decide which ones to focus on.

Active income is easy for anyone - while you’re working hard you earn what you deserve. That’s great, but what happens when you stop? It’s a marketer’s greatest fear, because 95% of people stop making any form of online income the moment they cut down on writing and blogging. If something were to happen to you and active blogging becomes impossible altogether, your online well literally dries up quicker than you can imagine.

That’s why I learned to focus on building “passive income” as well. Unlike active income, this type of income generally takes a longer time to show results, and even when it does the cash usually comes in small “streams”. Most people would scoff at it and dismiss it as mere “pocket money”. I did the same thing, but when I look back at my income for the last year, my passive income streams have been growing steadily and consistently, with almost no extra effort on my part.

If I stop everything I am doing right now and literally disappear from the face of the earth, my little passive income streams will continue to grow. Now, what if I could add more streams of passive income to this, and build it to the point where it becomes a raging river of cash, still running virtually on auto-pilot?

That got me thinking hard. Active income is absolutely necessary to pay the bills, but passive income is vital for building wealth. Read that again: BUILDING WEALTH.

Building wealth requires a completely different mindset and strategy. If you’re not consciously building wealth, then you’re no better off than you would be working a 9-5 job. Your income is to tied up to the work you do NOW, and the amount of money you make is directly related to the amount of time you sacrifice.

I found a great guide by Gobala Krishnan, a.k.a the Profit Blogger, that talks about auto-pilot income and building streams of online wealth, called

WordPress AdSense System.

His guide talks about using WordPress to build niche, auto-pilot sites and monetizing them with Google AdSense. I strongly recommend you take a look at it, as I personally found it to be one of the most revealing and practical systems to making money from your blog:

Google AdSense is not something new. It’s been hyped about before, but I find that Gobala has taken the most practical and logical approach to making it work. A lot of people still make a

five-figure income from Google AdSense, and can you imagine what kind of life it would be when you are that level?

You can practically quit everything, go on vacation for a year, and your income will just keep growing. That’s what I’ve been trying to say here - the allure and power of “passive income”. It’s possible.

You have set up your online business website. All the necessary functionalities are there, all the products are well positioned, and everything looks terrific. But why don’t you have a single sale made since? Simple! You have no traffic coming in to your site. Don’t make a mistake of not introducing your website; there could be nobody knowing your website exists.

And, it’s not just any traffic you need. You need targeted traffic to your website. Meaning, you need to invite people who would actually want to buy whatever it is you’re offering. To achieve increased in visitor traffic, you need to advertise your website. And remember that there are more differences in online business and offline business advertisement than there are similarities.

The most popular method to advertise a website is to write articles for article marketing campaign.

For the right person, article marketing can be totally free. If you know how to write articles, you can find free article directories on the Web where you can submit articles for publishing. This way your campaign will cost you zero.

Authority websites also gain higher search engine ranking – another free way to search engine optimize your website.

By writing articles, you know you get targeted traffic to your website. Only people with particular interest to your niche will read your piece so that you know if you carry them to your business website, they will find what you’re offering interesting. You are sure your efforts will not go to waste.

However, you must remember one important point when you write article. Think about your readers’ purpose and forget about yours for a while. That is to say know what your readers would like to read about your niche. To do this, you must join forums or chat rooms where your target audiences post questions for you to answer. Once you know your readers by heart, you can write a piece purposely dedicated to them.

Realize the power of article marketing for your online business, and before you know it, the profit starts pouring in. Put service first and forget about making money for a while when you write your articles; think about how you can help your customers.
